We are seeking an iOS Engineer for our growing team.

With Vaporstream, you'll have the chance to make a big difference on a team working together to build and enhance our secure messaging app. The iOS team is currently working to build new features while maintaining a continuous delivery to production. We pride ourselves in creating the best possible user experience experience while using the best tools for the job.

In this role, you will work in an Agile team that handles specs driven by both internal needs as well as customer requests to build new features and improve existing functionality of the iOS mobile app.

All of our team works remotely, and this is a remote (work from home) position.

What We Are Looking For

• 2+ Years experience developing apps using Xcode and the iOS SDK
• Experience with Swift and Objective-C
• Intermediate knowledge of iOS, as well as common architectural patterns of the platform.
• Knowledge of RESTful Web-Services, websocket communication, JSON, networking protocols and best practices for promoting leading application performance
• Experience using SQLite databases
• Experience signing and deploying iOS applications to the App Store
• Experience with MVC architecture in Cocoa applications. MVVM in iOS is a plus.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams.
